CINCINNATI - Courtesy our friends at Tristatefootball.com , here is a look at several of this weeks more compelling high school football games. Starting with….
Lawrenceburg at East Central
This rivalry only grows in intensity. Both have weathered rough patches and are back in the consciousness of most of Southeastern Indiana. With first place on the line, expect a classic.
Cooper at Conner
From "Who are these guys?" to "Who can beat them?" That’s the seemingly lightning fast development of Cooper's program as they continue to roll up points and wins.
Ross at Mt. Healthy
The Owls are back, though some might contend they never went away. Come what may, Ross has all the incentive in the world to claim a signature win Friday. The Owls won't easily comply.
St. Xavier at Elder
The intersection of Vincent and Regina Avenues in Price Hill is the center of the West Side football universe for many. Myself included. All the more reason to expect a no holds barred battle between the Panthers and visiting St. Xavier Bombers.
Colerain at Mason
The Cardinals have climbed the mountain in Cincinnati, to claim the No. 1 ranking this week. They are uniquely qualified to defend that standing even on the road at Mason. But the Comets are more likely to sizzle than fizzle.
