CINCINNATI - It's the final weekend of the regular season in Ohio and Kentucky. There are several games with championship or playoff implications

LASALLE AT ELDER: Elder already has clinched a playoff spot, but a victory would allow them to continue their winning momentum into the playoffs.  Nice comeback for the Panthers who were 2-8 in 2011. They are 6-3 this season.

WESTERN BROWN AT NORWOOD:  The winner takes the Southern Buckeye Conference, American Division. The biggest storyline here is that Norwood hasn't won a league title since 1984. That even precedes the tremendous Marc Edwards by several years.

WYOMING AT MADEIRA: This is truly a winner-take-all situation. If Wyoming wins, they capture the Cincinnati Hills League and go to the playoffs. If Madeira wins, they take the title and go to the playoffs.

NORTH COLLEGE HILL AT CHCA: If CHCA wins this game, they'll go to the playoffs. NCH can't make it in whether they win or lose.

BEECHWOOD AT NEWCATH: Beechwood is rolling with five straight wins.  NewCath has won four of its last five games.  Always a tremendous game.

I talk with Greg Shoemaker of TriStateFootball.com about these games and other Friday night contests in the attached video.
