High School Football Preview-Week Zero
The season begins in Kentucky and Indiana

CINCINNATI - WCPO.com has partnered with TriStatefootball.com to bolster our high school football coverage this season.
Each week, we'll be talking with Greg Shoemaker, who will preview the top five games for the coming weekend.
This is a limited start to the high school campaign. Both Kentucky and Indiana begin this week. Ohio doesn't allow games to begin until next week.
Greg and I sat down to talk about the following games:
BELLEVUE AT WALTON-VERONA: The Tigers of Bellevue have experience and they'll play against Walton-Verona which is a young but improving program.
CAMPBELL COUNTY VS COVINGTON CATHOLIC: This game will be played at Dixie Hts as part of the Skyline Chili Crosstown Showdown. This game features a couple of fine quarterbacks, Blake Bir for CovCath and Tyler Durham for Campbell County.
RYLE AT COOPER: Another game where the quarterbacks are in the spotlight. Ryle's Nathan Davis showed great promise as a junior, while Cooper's Tyler Morris is the reigning Class 5 District 5 Player of the Year.
NEWCATH VS DIXIE HTS: This also part of the Showdown field. It looks like the biggest challenge for Dixie is trying to slow down the NewCath offense.
LAWRENCEBURG AT SOUTH DEARBORN: It's always a struggle when neighbors on Route 50 get together.
