WALTON, Ky - Carroll County came out strong in the first quarter on the road at Walton-Verona, and led by four after the first break.
That is when the Bearcats, led by Zach McNeil, pounced on the Panthers and took a ten point lead at the half. McNeil led all scoring with 23 points and seven rebounds, Matt Hargett was close behind with 20 points, and Tanner Moeves had 15.
Carroll County's Dalla Gibson racked up a double-doubles in the losing effort. Gibson brought down 11 rebounds and 14 points and teammate Trey Boles had 8 boards with 13 points.
