CINCINNATI - The Bengals made several moves Friday as training camp got under way in Cincinnati.

The following four players were placed on the active/physically unable to perform list:

Cornerback Nate Clements
Wide receiver Jordan Shipley
Defensive tackle Pat Sims
Kicker Mike Nugent

They will continue to count against the team's roster limit and can be activated to practice as soon as they are cleared medically.

Rookie cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick was placed on the active/non-football injury list. The first-round pick suffered a knee injury and is expected to miss a few weeks, according to several reports. He will continue to count against the team's roster limit and can be activated as soon as he is medically cleared.

Linebacker Brandon Joiner was put on the reserve/did not report list and no longer counts against the roster limit. He may not resume any team activities without first being reinstated by the NFL Commissioner's office.
