Ben-Gal gets $11M in damages from gossip site

COVINGTON, Ky. - A Bengals cheerleader and high school teacher has been awarded $11 million in damages from a suit against a website that claimed she had venereal diseases.

Sarah Jones sued TheDirty.com for libel after they posted a story saying she had been exposed to two venereal diseases.

Nobody from the website appeared in court to contest the case. According to the judgement, Jones will receive $1 million in compensatory damages and $10 million in punative damages from Dirty World Entertainment Recordings LLC, the owner of website.

Jones' attorney says that they will make every attempt to collect that money.
