CINCINNATI - Less than 12 hours after a heartbreaking loss in Super Bowl XLVI, New England Patriots wide receiver Chad Ochocinco was back in Cincinnati.

The former Bengals receiver appeared in a Hamilton County courtroom Monday morning where he pleaded guilty to failure to display a driver's license. He was originally cited for driving with a suspended license and a window tint violation on July 21. Ochocinco was driving a 2004 Mercury when he was pulled over by police on Fulton Avenue in Walnut Hills. His out-of-state license was suspended at the time, according to court documents.

He pleaded guilty Monday to the reduced charge and received two fines totaling $304 from Municipal Court Judge Russell Mock. However, the judge hastened to add, "I guess I would have to issue a larger fine if you would have won last night."

Following his court appearance, Ochocinco posted the following message on Twitter: Court appearance done in Cincinnati, having to appear in court for window tint being to dark is a bit extreme, nonetheless no jail time.

Ochocinco, who had problems getting onto the field this season, caught one pass for 21 yards in Sunday night's 21-17 loss to the New York Giants in Indianapolis. The Bengals traded him to New England before the season after he spent the 2001-2010 seasons in Cincinnati.
