CINCINNATI - Police arrested a University of Cincinnati football player Wednesday after he admitted to stealing items from a dorm room in January.
Officials arrested Akise Teague — a running back for UC’s football team — after he broke into a room in UC’s Daniel Hall, 45 West Daniels Street, on Jan. 22 and stole property from the room. Police say the stolen items were found at Teague’s home and he later admitted to the crime.
Teague was charged with burglary and is scheduled to be arraigned at 9 a.m. Thursday.
Teague, who is originally from Youngstown, is a sophomore at UC, according to the UC website .
