It really has been a good year so far for the NL Central leading Cincinnati Reds.
Not only are they leading their division, by 1.5 games over the St. Louis Cardinals, they can now say that they have 3 All-Stars on the roster.
Third baseman Scott Rolen, Reliever Arthur Rhodes and second baseman Brandon Phillips were all selected to the team.
Rolen was chosen by a combination player and fan balloting as a backup at third base. Rhodes and Phillips were both chosen by National League Manager Charlie Manuel as reserves. Phillips got the nod because of an injury to Philadelphia Phillies second baseman Chase Utley.
First baseman Joey Votto has a chance to be chosen, he is part of the Major League Baseball Final Vote competition.
This years All-Star game will be played on July 13th in Anaheim, California.
