CINCINNATI - Bengals Head Coach Marvin Lewis had a long lingering dinner Thursday night at his favorite downtown steak emporium "Jeff Ruby's." His only guest, according to Channel 9 Sports sources, was former Minnesota Vikings Head Coach Brad Childress.

It was far from a clandestine meeting, as Marvin cordially introduced Brad to some local acquaintances who also happened to be dining. This just hours after Marvin defiantly responded to calls for the ouster of offensive coordinator Bob Bratkowski at Bengals.com .

"They're clamoring for heads and I understand that. I'm not ready to give them heads," replied Marvin.

He deigned to throw disgruntled fans a bone though, when he added, "I think we still have a chance for change."

Spending a large part of the evening before he and his staff depart for Senior Bowl duties, with the one time Philadelphia Offensive Coordinator, raises the prospects of that happening in the not too distant future.
