GOODYEAR, Ariz. - Jay Bruce decided to have a little fun at Spring Training, with the help of the MLB Fan Cave.
Bruce was selected to answer rapid fire questions from several lucky Fan Cave finalists.
He sat down next to a table that featured what was supposed to be his Silver Slugger Award, but was actually a replica.
The table that the award was on was built with faulty legs, and it was only a matter of time before a fan came in and knocked the legs over.
One fan finally did, and Bruce acted stunned and upset.
"Do you know much this is worth?" Bruce asked the pranked fan.
Bruce finally came clean, and the fan insisted he was going to keep blaming the table.
