CINCINNATI - Former Cleveland Indians infielder Jack Hannahan is the latest player to make his way from northeast Ohio to the Queen City.

The Reds confirmed Thursday the veteran infielder agreed to a deal, pending a physical, for a two-year contract through the 2014 season. The details of the contract have not been released.

Hannahan is the third Indian to join the Reds this week. Shin-Soo Choo and Jason Donald made their way to the Reds as part of a three-team, nine-player trade Tuesday that relocated underperforming center fielder Drew Stubbs to Cleveland.

In addition to third base, Hannahan made appearances at shortstop and first base last season, so in Cincinnati, he could provide relief to either Zack Cozart or Joey Votto when necessary.

Hannahan, who turns 33 in March, batted .244 with four homers and 29 RBIs in 105 games in 2012, despite being hindered by a nagging back injury. He hit .250 with eight homers in 110 games in 2011.
