CHICAGO - Wooooooooo!

Reds fans were howling yet again, but this time the erratic noises were heard several hundred miles away in Chicago.

As the Reds wrapped up a 3-1 victory over the Chicago Cubs Tuesday night, Reds fans could be heard loud and clear at Wrigley Field, continuing the new trend that apparently transcends home and away games: Howling.

The bottom of the 9th was filled with more howls than Cubs fans in attendance, so much so that the on-air announcers of the game were difficult to focus on.

The TV broadcast of the end of the game showed Reds fans actively engaging in the howling, and even Dusty Baker got a good laugh out of the sounds traveling with the team, as he could be seen chuckling while the noises echoed more and more throughout the away stadium. Some Cubs fans could also be seen very confused by the strange "Woo!" calls that have now become a habit of Reds fans apparently both home and away.

With the Reds magic number down to 4, and their chances to clinch the NL Central growing, imagine this for a second: 42,000 strong during a playoff game at Great American Ball Park, all "howling" on their team.

Judging by how loud the last playoff game at GABP in 2010 was, that noise could cause some headaches.

So what do you think? Are you going to howl at the next Reds home game? Let us know in the comments section below or on our WCPO Facebook page.
