Best bars to watch the Reds NLDS games

CINCINNATI - The Reds return to Cincinnati for Game 3 of the NLDS Tuesday, and if you weren't fortunate enough to get tickets, Cincinnati has an array of sports bars that you can watch the game from and still cheer on your team as if you were there.

Here's a list of the Top 9 places to watch the Reds' NLDS games:

1. Holy Grail at the Banks - The original sports bar of The Banks, and still one of the best. With more than 20 TVs, you won't have to turn your head an inch to catch all the NLDS action. And with its location right outside GABP, you can hear the roar of the hometown crowd, the burst of the fireworks and be able to give high fives as Reds fans stream in and out of the ball park. Be warned: get there early if you want a seat, or in this case if you even want to get in. Holy Grail is routinely the busiest bar in Cincinnati, and it will be especially so with the Reds in the playoffs.

2. Christian Moerlein Lager House - Two full bars, TVs on every corner of the interior and some great food and drink to choose from, if you can't get into the game, this is a great spot to bring a group and root on the Redlegs. Reservations are recommended if you're looking to make a meal of it, and make sure you claim a spot at the bar early if you want a seat. Similar to Holy Grail, this new Cincinnati mainstay is just a Pete Rose slide away from GABP so you can hear and feel all that happens inside the park.

3. Rock Bottom Brewery - A prestige location considering it's not too close to GABP to have to deal with traffic, there are plenty of TVs in the bar area to catch the Redlegs, and the craft beer selection is top notch. It will likely get pretty busy here too, but in the event you find it too crowded, just pop out to Fountain Square to view the game on the big screen. Might want to bring a coat though...

4. Willie's in Covngton - Coming from N.Ky.? Willie's sports cafe has a ton of seating for you. With TVs to compensate, this spot makes a great place to watch a ball game from, and even if you do have tickets, you can take the Willie's bus down to GABP when it's time for first pitch. Even if you're not near N.Ky., Willie's has a bunch of other locations, all worth watching the Reds from (Western Hills, West Chester, Kenwood, Mason, Lawrenceburg)

5. Brothers Bar & Grill  - If you're closer to Newport than Covington, Brothers sports bar is an excellent option to cheer on the Reds. A good mix of outdoor and indoor seating with plenty of televisions to go round, you can cheer on the Reds from just across the river, and catch any fireworks (literally) as you peer into GABP from Newport on the Levee. And for those sensitive to Ky.'s lax smoking laws in bars, not so at Brothers, no smoking allowed inside here.

6. Lucky Dog Grille - Coming from up north and don't want to make it all the way to the river? We recommend Lucky Dog Grille. A surprisingly big sports bar, they have a decently-sized round bar and a separate seating section with TVs everywhere, so you can sit and grab a cheap bite to eat or just have a few drinks while playing one of the many games they offer and root on the Reds.

7. Champions Grille - For West Siders, Champions is the perfect spot just off Glenway Avenue. With plenty of sports memorabilia, this bar means business, and you can not only watch the Reds game on one of their many TVs lined up n a row, but revel in the Reds past success with pictures of the Big Red Machine and Barry Larkin galore. Add in cheap drinks and you've got a great place to watch a game.

8. Cock and Bull - East Siders should make their way to the Cock and Bull in Hyde Park. It's a great spot for food and drink, with a variety of both, and there's no TV too far away to catch all the Reds action. The bar is a tad on the small side, but there's plenty of room in the outside seating area as well as in the back of the bar.

9. Buffalo Wild Wings - No matter where you're coming from, a BW3 is never far away. With plenty of different shapes and sizes of TV viewing, and a diverse collection of beer and wings to supplement, any BW3s will make for a great Reds rallying point.
