Cincinnati Reds manager Dusty Baker took back managerial duties for the first time since recovering from some health issues Monday night, and 9 News was the only local news station in St. Louis to interview him before he got back to the bench.

Baker suffered a mini-stroke after being checked in to a Chicago hospital for an irregular heartbeat on Sept. 20. He stayed for several days in the hospital before traveling back home to Cincinnati to rest and recuperate.

Baker is back at 100 percent and his doctors say he'll recover fully with no lasting effects from the mini-stroke.

9 News caught up with Dusty, and asked him about his health, how he feels about this team and why they've played so well together.
