Brandon Phillips makes one of his many miraculous defensive plays from the ground. Him, along with the rest of the Reds defense, have made sure nothing gets through that shouldn't all year, posting a .985 fielding percentage.

Six Cincinnati Reds have been named as finalists for National League Gold Glove awards.

The Gold Glove is awarded to the best player at each defensive position, as voted on by team managers and coaches. Coaches cannot vote for anyone on the team they coach for.

The Reds led all clubs with their six finalists. Those that were up for the award were 2012 winners 2B Brandon Phillips and 1B Joey Votto, SS Zack Cozart, CF Drew Stubbs, RF Jay Bruce and pitcher Bronson Arroyo.

The winners at each position were announced Tuesday night, and none of the Reds' finalists took home an award.

The Reds also have two players on the radar for Rookie of the Year in Cozart and Todd Frazier. That award will be announced later in November.
