After throwing six one-hitters this season, Newport freshman right-hander Katlyn Hoeh finally threw her first no-hitter in an 11-0 win against Covington Latin, Monday at Newport.

Hoeh allowed only one base runner on a walk on a 3-2 count in the fourth inning.

Eighth-grade shortstop Kylie Orr drove in three runs, two on a double in the Wildcats six-run second inning and another on a ground out in the fourth.

Senior third baseman Miranda Combs added run-scoring singles in both the first and the second innings.
