SAN JOSE, Costa Rica - Look on the bright side: you're only about 3,600 miles from the happiest place in the world, give or take a mile.
And no, it's not a Disney resort.
A new survey gave the honor to Costa Rica.
The UK based New Economic Foundation recently announced the results of its "Happy Planet Index."
It rates 151 nations by measuring ecological sustainability against life expectancy and a person's well-being.
The US ranked 105th on the Happy Index.
