CINCINNATI - “Good Morning America” anchor Robin Roberts is headed back to work Wednesday after a five-month hiatus while she fought a blood cancer known as MDS.
As Roberts got a bone marrow transplant and fought Myeodysplastic syndrome, her viewers and fans around the country reached out in support and expressed their excitement for her to be back on the ABC morning show.

A group of nurses from West Georgia Hospice decided to shoot a video on Aug.18, 2012 in support of Roberts.
La-Keisha Michelle posted an online tribute to Robin Roberts on YouTube. She says she wrote the song to help with Roberts' recovery.
Singer Mandisa's song "Stronger" was writted as a tribute to Roberts.
