HAMILTON, Ohio - One local woman is cashing in big... $85,000 big.

Ruth McIntosh is the newest Cash Explosion winner, raking in $85,000 on the TV show after buying a $1 scratch-off ticket at the Meijer store in Hamilton.

She missed out winning more on a second taping, but she said she was thrilled with the winnings and the parting gifts from the show, including mugs, a bag, shirt, clock and seat cushions.

"I won $85,000 in two hours. And I was happy. And then I went back Thursday morning, June 2, for another $50,000. My name was up there twice and all at once I was gone,” said McIntosh.

She said that she plans on using her money to help out family members and to fix up her house a bit. She will put a screen around her back porch and lay hardwood floors throughout her kitchen and hallways.

The Cash Explosion episodes showcasing her winnings will air June 18 and 25 on Channel 9.
