Tri-State victims of 9/11 remembered

Here's a list of those who died in the attacks who were from or had connections to the Tri-State:

Kelly Boom, who graduated from Miami University and whose parents reside Blue Ash, Ohio, was on a business trip aboard American Airlines Flight 11 when the jetliner was hijacked by terrorists and crashed into the World Trade Center. She was 24.

Doug Cherry, who grew up in Terrace Park, Ohio, died while at work on the 104th floor of Tower Two of the World Trade Center after terrorist crashed into the skyscraper. He was 38.

Wendy Faulkner of Mason, Ohio died in Tower Two of the World Trade Center while on a one-day business trip to New York. She was 47.

John Jenkins, a 45-year-old a corporate office services manager for Charles River Associates who had lived in Erlanger, Ky., died aboard American Airlines Flight 11, which was hijacked by terrorists after taking off from Boston’s Logan Airport and crashed into the World Trade Center.

Robert David Peraza, whose family lives in Mason, died while working as broker at Cantor Fitzgerald on 104th floor of Tower One of the World Trade Center. He was 30.

Martha Reszke, who was the sister-in-law of John Reszke of Liberty Township and a civilian employee of the Army budget office, died when a hijacked jetliner crashed into the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001. She was the 56-year-old mother of two.

Cathy Salter, a University of Cincinnati graduate, was among the victims on the 100th floor of the World Trade Center on 9/11. She was 37.

Brian Williams, a 1990 graduate of Covington Catholic High School in Park Hills, Ky., died while at work as a stockbroker at the World Trade Center. He was 30.
