CINCINNATI - The 216 Foundation is a local organization working to find a cure for diabetes.
The organization is planning a big party in February to help bring awareness and raise funds to fight the disease.
Eric Isham is the CEO and founder of The 216 Foundation. Eric joined us for Good Morning Tri-State on Sunday morning to talk about the fundraiser, and some of the foundation's work.
The 216 Foundation's seventh-annual fundraising gala is on Saturday February 18. The "Playboy Club Gala" is a black tie event. It's at 7:00 p.m. at The Madison in Covington.
There will be Vegas-style gambling with professional dealers. You can try your luck at games including Texas hold 'em, blackjack, craps, roulette, and more. Tickets cost $100 per person. That includes dinner and dessert, unlimited cocktails, live music, and live and silent auctions. There are some exciting grand prizes up for grabs, including a trip to Mexico, Las Vegas, Hawaii, local artwork, an iPad 2, and more.
You can buy tickets for the Playboy Gala Event on the 216 Foundation website . Proceeds will help provide financial support to organizations and programs dedicated to the search for a cure for diabetes.
Last year the annual fundraiser was a Gangster Gala theme. That party sold out, and organizers are hoping that tickets will sell out this year too. As of Sunday tickets are still available, but they are going fast.
