CINCINNATI - Supporters of the Anna Louise Inn got their creative juices flowing Monday night to rally for the century-old establishment.
Folks made rally signs at Mt. Auburn Presbyterian Church Monday night.
Anna Louise residents are in the middle of a lawsuit with Western and Southern Financial who wants to develop the property into a commercial site.
The Inn's current owner, Cincinnati Union Bethel, wants to dedicate the Inn to homeless women.
"We believe that Western and Southern needs a new direction," explained Josh Spring of the Greater Cincinnati Homeless Coalition. "We are tired of them bullying an organization that is wonderful, that is promoting life in our neighborhoods and we want Anna Louise to continue right where they are."
The rally is scheduled for Wednesday April 4 at noon at Fourth and Sycamore in downtown Cincinnati.
