FRANKFORT, Ky. - Greg Stumbo, D-Prestonburg, was sworn in for his third terms as the House of Representatives Speaker to lead 2013 and 2014 Kentucky General Assembly Wednesday.

“I am honored that my fellow legislators have chosen me to lead our chamber and I am humbled by the trust that they have placed in me,” said Stumbo.

Stumbo was first elected to the Kentucky legislature in 1980 and served House Majority Floor Leader for 18 years. He was also the state’s Attorney General from 2003 to 2007.
