SHILOH, Ohio (AP) -- A northern Ohio man wanted in his father's killing has been arrested in Missouri.

The Richland County Sheriff's Office says deputies found 48-year-old Michael Lawrence dead in his home in Shiloh on Friday night after getting calls from concerned family members.

Sheriff's Major Dale Fortney did not say how Lawrence was killed but that his son, 29-year-old Brandon Lawrence, quickly became the focus of the investigation.

Fortney says the father and son lived together, and that Brandon Lawrence had left the home abruptly in his father's truck, hadn't been seen for days and likely was headed to Missouri.

Brandon Lawrence was arrested in southwestern Missouri on Saturday morning after a local sheriff's office found him sleeping at a rest area.

He is being held on a $1 million bond.
