Police: 2 shot in Mormon temple parking lot in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Police responded to a shooting outside a Mormon temple on the west side of Columbus Tuesday evening.

The incident happened around 6 p.m.

WBNS in Columbus reports a woman and her boyfriend were in the temple's parking lot when the woman's ex-boyfriend arrived.

The boyfriend fled and an altercation occurred between the ex-boyfriend and the woman, according to WBNS. Both were transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

Police believe the ex-boyfriend may have been the shooter.
