The Horseshoe Casino Cleveland brought in $20.66 million in January, about a 16 percent drop over their December take of $24.5 million, but in the middle of November’s $20.5 and October’s $20.8 million.

Horseshoe continues to lead the state’s other two casinos, with Hollywood Columbus posting adjusted gross revenue of $18.26 million last month and Hollywood Toledo at $14.3 million.

Slots accounted for $13 million of Horseshoe’s January revenue, a roughly 14.5 percent decline over December. Table games brought in $7.65 million, down about 17 percent.

Table games continue to be a major draw in Cleveland where the Horseshoe more than doubled the gross revenue brought in by Hollywood Toledo which only has 80 tables compared to Cleveland’s 117.

The state’s three casinos combined brought in $53.2 million in AGR, their lowest take since all casinos opened to full-time gambling in October. December’s $56.6 million was the high mark.

The Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati will become the state’s fourth and final casino when it opens its doors on March 4.
