WESTERVILLE, Ohio (AP) - Michelle Obama plans campaign appearances Tuesday for her husband in the presidential battleground of Ohio.
The first lady has stops scheduled at a high school in suburban Columbus and a convention center in Dayton.
Ohio is a must-win ticket for the president, who must tread carefully in a state where unemployment has continued to drop under Republican Gov. John Kasich.
Kasich lives in Westerville, the site of Michelle Obama's early afternoon speech at a high school.
Westerville has also been the site of contentious school levy campaigns that epitomize the state's school funding problems.
The first lady's visit follows campaign stops made last week by the president and Vice President Joe Biden.
Republican challenger Mitt Romney also made three stops in Ohio on Wednesday.
