CLEVELAND (AP) - Cleveland police say they have charged a 20-year-old woman with aggravated murder in the death of her 3-year-old son whose body had been bagged and thrown in the trash.
A police official said Wednesday that Camilia Terry has been charged in the death of her son Emilliano. His body was found intact inside three trash bags at a waste transfer station Monday.
Camilia Terry had reported the child missing from a park Sunday.
The medical examiner's office is still trying to definitely identify the body as Emilliano's and determine a cause of death.
Police have searched Terry's apartment looking for clues as to where the child was killed.
Terry is expected to be arraigned Thursday. Prosecutors will then present the case to a grand jury.
