CINCINNATI - It's a creative way to help spur the sluggish housing market. Realtors from all over the Tri-State have banded together to put on their annual "Show and Sell" event.
The event will feature nearly 3,000 open houses in the Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana areas.
"It's a great time to be able to go out without any obligation of buying to go look and see what inventory is out there, look at neighborhoods, see what you can get for your money and then circle back with a realtor and then buy a house." said Pete Kopf, the President of the Cincinnati area board of realtors.
Kopf also talked about what people looking to sell their homes could do to make them more appealing. From a nicely groomed yard to staging the living area, Kopf and other realtors say its the best way to make a home stand out and make it more marketable to buyers.
