CINCINNATI - For customers whose trash is normally picked up on Tuesday, Rumpke trash collection will be delayed one day.

For those customers whose typical day of collection is Monday, there will be service delay or interruption.

Many customers’ waste and recycling collections will be delayed because of the Christmas and New Year’s holiday.

Service will not occur on Christmas, Tuesday, Dec. 25, and collection will be delayed one day the rest of the week. Tuesday's collection will move to Wednesday; Wednesday's collection will move to Thursday; Thursday's collection will move to Friday; and Friday's collection will move to Saturday.

Customers with collections on Monday, Dec. 31 will not be affected. Starting on New Year's Day, collection will be delayed one day the rest of the week.

Rumpke will return to its normal collection schedule Januray 7, 2013.
