SANDUSKY, Ohio - Partial human remains found by two boys near the Cedar Point amusement park last month have been identified as those of an Ohio boater missing since October.

WEWS-TV reports that the Erie County Coroner's Office confirmed the body was that of 58-year-old Charles Kaplan of Solon.

Cedar Point workers spotted the capsized boat on Oct. 23.

The U.S. Coast Guard found the body of Kaplan's girlfriend, 58-year-old Pam Holstein, inside the 36-foot vessel. Authorities searched the area for Kaplan for 12 hours without success.

The Coast Guard said the couple had children together.
