CINCINNATI - A man is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday morning after he injured a woman during an alleged robbery in Westwood Tuesday.
Police say William Baldrick knocked the woman to the ground as she walked toward her car from the Walgreens located in the 3100 block of Harrison Avenue at about 6:45 p.m. Tuesday. Baldrick then allegedly took her purse and fled the scene.
The 30-year-old didn’t get too far, however. A police K-9 unit caught up with him a short time later in the 3400 block of Boundinot Avenue and officers say he had the woman’s purse with him.
The woman sustained minor injuries. Officials charged Baldrick with robbery, theft and receiving stolen property.
Baldrick is scheduled to be arraigned at 9 a.m.
