Bridgetown woman finds true love through online dating

CINCINNATI - Two years have gone by and Teresa Eisele, 39, is still smiling.

"There was certain things I was looking for in a partner and certain things I was definitely not looking for in a partner," Eisele said.

Russ is the man that had it all. Eisele met him on the dating website Plenty of Fish in November of 2010 while living in Indiana, forty five minutes away from Cincinnati and not sure what she was getting herself into.  She was especially cautious with a 16-year-old son and five year old daughter at the time.

"Russ's profile pic just popped up one day, and his smile just literally captured my heart  and I was like I have to see who this man is," Eisele said.

A week of messaging back and forth and phone calls went by. The two then finally met in person and hit it off.  Six months later, Eisele moved back to Cincinnati to be with Russ, also a father of two children.

"You think you have your life mapped out," Eisele said. "When I met my ex at 19, we got married and had kids, I thought I knew what my life was gonna be and suddenly things change."

Eisele's son Daniel, now 18, couldn't be happier for his mom.

"He does everything for her and she does everything for him," Daniel said. "It's just nice to know there's still something like that out there."

Things will be getting even better for the couple. Russ asked Daniel for his mom's hand in marriage and proposed to her during her birthday party last year.

"He goes baby doll, will you spend the rest of your life with me, and I was in utter shock," Eisele said.

This is why Eisele recommends online dating. As long as you know what you want and are careful, you could just meet the love of your life.

Eisele and Russ will tie the knot on Oct. 19.
