CINCINNATI - Cincinnati police arrested a suspect who allegedly shot and killed a man in East Price Hill early Monday morning.
According police, Carl Stevelt, 20, shot 23-year-old Steven Derden, who managed to knock on the door of a home in the 3100 block of Price Avenue at about 2:45 a.m. for help. Police and emergency crews responded to the home and transported Derden to University Hospital.
Derden died from his injuries at about 6:30 a.m. Officials have not released information about the injuries Derden sustained.
Stevelt was arrested and charged with murder for Derden's death Monday night. He was issued a $1 million bond Tuesday morning during his arraignment.
Cincinnati's homicide unit is handling the investigation.
