CINCINNATI - Police are searching for the driver that crashed a stolen car early Wednesday morning.
The wreck happened just after 12 a.m. at the intersection of Warsaw Avenue and Wilder Avenue in Price Hill.
Police say they began pursuing a driver in a stolen car from the Jake Sweeney auto lot in Carthage. Officers lost the car, but caught up with it a short time later, finding it crashed into a fence.
The driver fled the scene of the accident, but the passenger, a juvenile, was detained.
Police have recovered the driver's shoes and cell phone, but have not released his identity.
