CINCINNATI - A structure fire on the third floor of a residence on Glenway Avenue in Price Hill resulted in minor damage on Friday night.

According to emergency dispatch, fire crews responded to a residence located at 2334 Glenway Avenue around 10:45 p.m. Friday after receiving reports of smoke alarm sounding from the third floor of the building.

Once on scene, firefighters located a fire in the third floor furnace room and extinguished it.

No injuries were reported in the incident, and no residents were displaced, according to reports. About $10,000 in damage was done to the building.

Crews had to close down parts of surrounding streets, including State and Wilder Avenues.

City crews applied salt to streets in the area to avoid having the water used to battle the blaze turn into ice.
