Firefighter injured in Price Hill fire

CINCINNATI - A Cincinnati firefighter is recovering after minor injuries sustained in an early morning fire in Price Hill.

Crews were called to the 1500 block of Beech Avenue around 6 a.m. Saturday for a vacant house fire.

When firefighters arrived on scene, they found heavy smoke coming from the single family home. A total of 32 firefighters responded and had the fire out within 15 minutes.

One firefighter did receive minor injuries and was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital. No other injures were reported.

Damage is estimated at $5,000 but a cause has not been determined.

The fire is still under investigation.
