CINCINNATI - Officials are investigating the cause of a fire in Price Hill early Wednesday morning.

A fire broke out at an apartment complex on the corner of Grand and Price avenues at about 1:30 a.m. Residents evacuated the complex and no one was injured, according to fire officials.

When fire crews arrived, there was light smoke in the hallway of the three-story building with the flames coming from the basement. Fire crews extinguished the blaze and investigators are working to determine what caused the fire.

Officials estimate the fire caused about $5,000 in damage.

Authorities have not released any additional details about the fire at this time.
