CINCINNATI - With a hot weekend around the corner, the Cincinnati Aquatics program is getting ready to open some of its pools, but something is missing this year.

The pool at the Dunham Recreation Facility opens Saturday and other pools within the city open in the coming weeks, but the aquatics program needs 30 more lifeguards for the season.

The director tells 9 News that all of the pools will open as scheduled and that they will be properly staffed for the safety of your family. But as the summer progresses, the director says the extra lifeguards are needed as people go on vacation or take sick days.

The next training program starts Tuesday at Ryan Pool.
