CINCINNATI - Police have released a sketch of a man they believe was responsible for two robberies on Cheviot Road.
Officers responded to a robbery at the Palm Beach Tan located at 6845 Cheviot Road around 6:40 p.m. on March 18th.
They said a man with a ski mask used a gun and took $50 from the register. Colerain Township police are handling the investigation of this robbery.
Police say a few minutes later at approximately 6:50 p.m., an armed man who was wearing a ski mask robbed a Family Dollarl store located at 5795 Cheviot Road.
The robber demanded money from the cashiers and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. Green Township and White Oak police are handling the investigation of the second robbery with assistance from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office. Cincinnati police dispatched a K-9 unit to the scene to search for a suspect, but no one was found.
The robber was described as a white man in his late 20s to early 30s with blue eyes. Police said the robber was 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build.
He was last seen wearing a black skull cap, black hooded jacket, blue jeans and black gloves.
No injuries were reported.
