Police investigate early morning Colerain Township home invasion

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Police are investigation a home invasion that took place in Colerain Township early Saturday morning.

According to police reports, a white male entered a home located in the 2400 block of Schon Drive around 1 a.m. Police said the man grabbed a black bag containing an unknown amount of money before fleeing the scene.

The suspect was last seeing heading toward Norcrest Drive. He was described as wearing jeans and a dark hooded sweatshirt.

Green Township K-9 units tracked the area between Wenning Drive and Ontario Street, according to police.

A weapon was not shown to people inside the home, according to police.

No injuries were reported.

The incident remains under investigation.
