CINCINNATI - A fire at a Mt. Airy home caused about $50,000 in damage on Tuesday night.
A fire broke out at a home at 5604 Colerain Avenue at about 10:30 p.m. Forty firefighters responded to the one ½ story house and brought the blaze under control in about an hour.
The fire did not cause any injuries, but the flames did cause extensive damage to the vacant house. The blaze grew in the basement and first floor of the residence, causing an estimated $50,000 in damage.
Investigators are working to determine what caused the fire.
Authorities have not released any additional details about the blaze at this time.
