Police search for suspect in Mt. Airy stabbing, shooting

CINCINNATI - Police are searching for a suspect involved in a stabbing and shooting in Mt. Airy Thursday morning.

Police say 33-year-old Donte Russel stabbed a victim in the hand and then shot at the victim at 2529 Flanagin Court around 6:30 a.m. Russel then fled the scene.

Officials are working to determine if he fled on foot or in a vehicle.

The victim, whose identity has not yet been released, is being transported to University Hospital.

The suspect is described as a black male who was wearing a green hoodie at the time of the stabbing.
