Woman shot in Green Township in critical condition

GREEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Police are searching for the person responsible for shooting a woman at a Green Township home Sunday. 

Hamilton County Sheriff's deputies and officers with Green Township Police Department were called to a home in the 6400 block of Brierly Creek Road around 1 a.m. for reports of a person shot.

When they arrived they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to University Hospital by ambulance and remains in critical condition.

Police have not released the woman's identity and have not provided any suspect information.

The shooting is still under investigation. 

Authorities ask that anyone with information call Crime Stoppers at (513) 352-3040.
