GREEN TWP, Ohio - A man is facing felony charges after he allegedly robbed the Danbarry Dollar Saver Cinemas in Green Township Sunday evening.
Officials arrested 26-year-old Joshua Phillips after he brandished a silver handgun and demanded money at about 10:50 p.m. at the theater located at 5190 Glencrossing Way, according to information from Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Mark Schoonover.
Phillips confronted an employee who was leaving the theater and ordered that employee and another theater worker get on the ground as he grabbed money and fled the scene, officials said. Authorities have not yet said how much money Phillips stole.
Neither employee sustained injuries during the incident, Schnoover said in a news release.
Phillips fled the theater on foot, but a K9 united helped officials track him in an area in the rear of the business.
Authorities arrested Phillips and charged him with one count of aggravated robbery, which is a felony. Phillips is being held in the Hamilton County Justice Center.
