GREEN TWP, Ohio - A medical office building in Green Township was the site of a two-alarm fire Sunday morning.

Green Township emergency crews were dispatched to 6480 Harrison Avenue at 10:50 a.m. after emergency dispatch received reports of a possible electrical fire.

After being directed to an electrical room by building occupants, firefighters located a small electrical fire in an equipment control panel.

Fire crews manage to extinguish the blaze in a matter of minutes using a CO2 fire extinguisher.

The blaze was originally elevated to a two-alarm fire after first responding units noticed the amount of smoke coming from the building and the size of the structure.

Approximately 30 firefighters and emergency workers from six different departments responded to the call, but many left the scene after the cause of the fire was determined.
