CINCINNATI - The investigation into a deadly accident along a busy Green Township road on Tuesday continues.

According to police, Joanna Case, 77, was driving a 2001 Honda Civic when she turned left into a lot on Glenway Avenue near the Home Depot store around 2 p.m. As Case was completing her turn, she was struck on the passenger side by a 2007 Suzuki GSXR motorcycle operated by Thomas Grady, Jr.

Grady, 24, who was traveling north on Glenway, was thrown from the motorcycle. He was transported to Mercy Western Hills Hospital by ambulance where he was later pronounced dead. Case was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital where she was treated for minor injuries.

Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors at this time.

Police say Grady was not wearing a helmet. Witnesses told police he was speeding and may have been doing a "wheelie" before the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
