Police: Pregnant woman shot in Fairmount

CINCINNATI - A pregnant woman was rushed to the hospital Friday evening after she was shot in Fairmount, police say.

The incident happened near Harkness Street sometime before 5 p.m.

Authorities say the woman was wounded during an altercation between people in two vehicles that started on Saffer Street.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital and then taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center with unknown injuries.

It is not clear if police have arrested a suspect or suspects at this time.
