Man claims he had 'rough sex' with woman, police say it was rape

DELHI TWP, Ohio - A rape suspect allegedly told police that his encounter with a woman was just “rough sex,” however, the alleged victim said otherwise and that it was not even consensual.
Police arrested 29-year-old Brandon McFarland of Delhi Township on Tuesday on a felony rape charge.
McFarland pulled the victim’s hair, choked her and ripped her shorts during their encounter at his residence last month, according to court documents.
McFarland is being held on a $100,000 bond and is awaiting another court appearance scheduled for Thursday.
Officials have not released any additional details at this time.
